Jeff Chinn is the Director of Career Services. Before coming to TJSL, he was Associate Director of the California Innocence Project at California Western School of Law, where he assisted in the investigation of claims of wrongful convictions in California. He also served as Managing Editor of the Federal Criminal Defense Law Journal. Jeff previously served as Assistant Director/Public Interest Coordinator at American University Washington College of Law and was Program Director of a law-related education program for juveniles in the Washington, D.C. court system. Jeff received his J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law where he was Articles Editor of the Administrative Law Journal. During law school, he clerked for a small law firm focusing on civil litigation and administrative law and was an intern at the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. He currently serves on the board of directors of the ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties and of the San Diego Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society. Jeff received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
