How long are the lease terms?
Leases are generally for 1 year (12 months) in length. Leases generally end on July 25th for students who begin in the fall and on December 31st for students who begin in the spring.
When can I move into Entrada?
Students can move into Entrada in June, July or August for the fall semester and December or January for the spring semester.
How are units filled in Entrada?
Units are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Units are generally assigned by the law school in May for the fall semester and in November for the spring semester.
Is there parking available at Entrada? How much does it cost?
Yes, parking is available in a gated-garage underneath the Entrada building. Parking is an additional $80/month per vehicle.
Can I have a pet at Entrada? What are the pet fees?
Yes. Students must pay a $500 pet deposit made out to Entrada if they bring a pet.
Can a student have a non-student roommate?
Yes, however the TJSL student will ultimately be responsible to pay all monthly rent and fees to the law school for the unit.

Are units furnished?

Does Entrada have security?
Yes, the Entrada building is patrolled from 6pm - 6am by GMI Security Company (the same security company that patrols the law school).
Is there a Grocery Store or Supermarket near the Entrada complex?
Yes, there is an Albertson’s located on 655 14th Street, which is two blocks away from Entrada.
What is the monthly rent for a unit at Entrada?
The following are approximate rental amounts for the Fall 2012 semester only and are subject to change.

How do I pay rent for your unit at Entrada?
You pay rent directly to Thomas Jefferson School of Law for your unit at Entrada. The law school will bill an Entrada Housing Charge (and Entrada Parking Charge if applicable) directly to your student account by semester throughout your lease term.
Essentially you will be charged 5 months of rent for the fall semester (Aug-Dec), 5 months of rent for the Spring semester (Jan-May) and 2 months of rent for the Summer semester (Jun-July).
Your charge per semester will be the amount of months for that semester multiplied by your monthly rent amount (for example - a student renting a unit for $1176/month will be charged a housing charge of $5880 (5 * $1176) for the fall semester).
Can a student live in Entrada all 3 years (or 4 years if part-time) of law school?
Yes. Students can renew their lease for their 2nd and 3rd year should they choose to remain in the Entrada complex.
